For more than sixty years, the Stotler name has become renown throughout California’s southern San Joaquin Valley oilfields. This Excellence in oil tool manufacturing began in the mid-twentieth century when William R Stotler began developing and patenting his tools to enhance and increase oil recovery and production. These inventions include Pre-Set Rod Release Couplings, the Stotler Casing Patch and Blow Out Preventers. To further protect and market his patented and successful line, he founded Stotler Company in 1974.

Today, the second and third generations of William R. Stotler are continuing the Stotler tradition of innovation and integrity with their additional line of tools for oil service and testing products. Stotler Company continues to offer a complete spectrum of BOP services with new equipment, rentals, repairs and parts. We also offer in-field BOP Testing with a fleet of safety-approved Test Trucks available twenty-four hours a day and we can expertly meet your oil-tool manufacturing needs per your specifications.
